Guys! It's that time of year again! We need to start planning for Secret Santa 2009. This was a pretty good success last year, and I know at least a few #clers are looking forward to doing it again this year.

For those of you who don't remember last year, everyone threw their names into a hat, and then a robot sent out emails of the assignments to everyone who signed up. Hopefully we can dust off that same robot and reuse it again this year.

So just in case all you dudes out there are wondering "But what if I send someone something very nice and then I get stuck with something crappy and totally uncool like a cracker with a picture of Santa taped to it?" Well we have a simple solution to that! There will be a $20 quota to your spending, so everyone gets the same amount of dollarage back as they originally got!

EDIT: Okay, so maybe $20 was too much. When you go to comment on this to say you're in, then also tell me how much you think the amount of money should be. I guess then we will do the average of what people say, obviously disregarding any crazy outliers. This is probably the fairest way to decide how much you want to spend. Also: in your comments opting in, say more than just "k", because I don't know if you are actually opting in or if you just like to say "k" to everything.
